Behind the scenes: multi-million dollar projects

A series of upcoming posts will chronicle the progress on two unique and important projects.

Meadowdale

It seems as if every property along Greenspring Valley Road in Baltimore County has a rich history. “Meadowdale” is no exception. The property dates to circa 1885 and is comprised of a number of buildings situated on 98 acres. The property was once part of the fox hunting path used by the Greenspring Valley Hunt Club. We completed a project for this client last year (see The Lodge) and now we’re moving to the main estate house to bring the client’s vision to life. After more than a year of planning, framing is underway. This will be a unique vantage point for our blog readers to follow every step of the design and build process of a new home on an historic property.

Lutherville

Tucked away on five private acres, Lutherville was recently sold by the trust for a well-known family. The home was substantially in the same condition during the last transfer as it was when it was lived in, Lutherville was recently purchased by a young family who want to honor the property’s history and heritage, while modernizing it for today’s living.

We were quite fortunate to work with the selling family trust to hand-pick a number of antiques and pieces to transfer with the sale of the home. This presented a wonderful opportunity to execute the vision of mixing the property’s history and making tasteful modifications to satisfy the new owners.

We are humbled to work with clients who put their complete trust in us to execute their dreams through our vision.  We will endeavor to post new photos and descriptions frequently. Follow our blog or our Facebook page for updates.
